Review: YesAsia, Kpopmart, Kpoptown, CDJapan & Soompi

Annyeong ^^

Here you can find my reviews on the different kpop shops I've bought from :) You will find an updated page here. If there's any questions just ask ^^

Please note that I have only paid for the cheapest shipping which is Standard Shipping (almost all Korean stores), Registered Airmail (Soompi) and SAL (for CDJapan) unless stated otherwise in the individual posts.

YesAsia
YesAsia was the first place I bought my Kpop albums. I was drawn by the buy for over $39 and get free shipping. I didn't realise that they have overpriced albums instead. The shipping for me started slow but then got faster and faster. I think I get it after a week nowadays. YesAsia do have some great deals. Like their sales are really awesome and they also have deals for Japanese CDs which is buy two and get a free mini toy.
I don't buy there that often anymore, but I usually do compare the album I'm about to buy so that I know where I can get it for the cheapest price. I advice you to not buy anything from here if you're going to buy less than $39. I checked how much it would cost to buy only a passport case (which where like $4 or something) and the shipping cost was about twice or thrice the double of the passport case's price.

YesAsia is the best place to buy Chinese albums from (or the only one that I know of) and if you're looking for a Japanese album that has been out for a while you might be able to buy a 1st press edition. Or at least get a photo card with it.
YesAsia ships their posters and albums separately which means you can get them at different times. But otherwise the packaging is pretty satisfying. Depending on how much you buy it comes in either a box or a bubble-wrap bag.
But I do like YesAsia on twitter :) They've answered me when I tweeted them nonsense xD They even tweeted me happy birthday once ^^

Kpopmart
I love this store. Because of all the freebies you get. If you preorder and order unfolded poster you'll get the poster without charge (well, the shipping cost but the poster doesn't) and very often they throw in mini photos. I even got a free poster once even though I didn't order it. Their albums are the cheapest ones I can find. The shipping can be a bit high but I haven't had a shipping  that has been higher than the amount of albums or stuff I've bought. They are really sweet when they've shipped your order because they send you a picture of your package so you see how it looks like. Both inside and outside :) I took me a while to find it though xD The shipping time is usually around five working days for me.
I just recently ordered a autographed album from them. I liked the fact that I could choose EMS and get it for free (EMS is usually super expensive). They did state that it wasn't as new and so, so I wasn't that surprised that the album wasn't perfect. But I'm really happy with the album. I like the autographs (they're perfectly fine) and since it is a digital single and isn't available to buy anywhere I was really happy that I could buy it from Kpopmart
They have their tumblrs which is super good. They update on new arrivals and answer people's questions. If you ever have problems with your package don't hesitate to mail them! They are only human and as I've understand it they are quite understaffed so they're doing their best but sometimes mistake happens. And they will try and fix their mistake if you let them know!

I've only had two problems with them. First one of my orders returned to them and I had to pay the shipping fee again. And secondly my latest package took almost three weeks to turn up (I was super scared it would return to them and make me pay the shipping fees again). But they've been super nice. I sent them an email about my late package and they told me that it probably was because of the holidays (which turned out to be true since all my other mail turned up late).
Do note that they only sell official merchandise.
What I like about Kpopmart is that they ship their poster and album in the same box. The posters still come in cardboard tubes but inside the box where the albums is in. They tape the albums to the box so it won't fly around which is good. What I don't like is that they don't always use the right length for the posters so it's not always that the posters comes in great condition.
Shipping time to Sweden: Around 5~10 days

Kpoptown
As for Kpoptown I'm a bit negative since my last order. It takes them the longest time to actually ship the order out. The prices are around the same price as Kpopmart but their shipping fees is a bit cheaper than Kpopmart
As for the unofficial merchandise I find it pretty good. I do like it that there is a shop that you can trust that will get you merchandise of your favourite group (although they don't have any LEDApple or MYNAME merchandise T_T). The shipping time is around the same time as Kpopmart. I think the longest is a week. As for the packaging I'm not really satisfied. I think that some of my things has come in a box with those white little annoying thingies. But the latest order came in bubble wrap bags which I don't really like.
They don't always know their stock and even though it says they're suppose to have one left they might not. And if they don't they will still send you the rest of you package and the give you a notice that it's out of stock. It happened to me recently and because of that I paid more for the shipping than for the actual item. I would've liked for them to let me know so I could have cancelled the order or something.
Shipping time to Sweden: 1~2 weeks

CDJapan
I love this site. Although they have mostly Japanese CD's they do have some Korean CD's. What I love about this site is that they have DGNA's Japanese single's. They do also do sales sometimes. I bought both Love Letters and Polar Star for a low price. And you get points that you can use as money.
Their shipping is pretty pricey so I use SAL which is their cheapest one and takes about two weeks to arrive. It's the best site to buy Japanese albums from ^^ (YesAsia is so super expensive with their Japanese albums T_T).
As for the packaging it's really satisfying. All my packages have come in a box. The posters that I've gotten from there (first press edition which means that I didn't pay for the poster but for the shipping) was in the box and in a really thin cardboard tube.
CDJapan has probably the best custom service out of all sites I've been ordering from. If  your package get lost they'll help you by all means and if you have some problems with orders and special deals they'll definitely help you.

Another thing I like about CDJapan is that they have a service called Special Request Shopping Service where you can ask them to order stuff that ain't available on their site. Although it get's a bit more expensive (because of service fee and EMS shipping) it's really great if you want things that is only available in Japan. For example MYNAME merchandise. I order their Photography album through this service but since it was out of print they offered me their newest Photo album instead. That's GREAT service!

Soompi
I've only ordered Soompi's specials. First time I ordered Super Junior's Sexy, Free and Single and it said that you couldn't change your mind after ordering. But I did change my mind and asked if I could cancel my order and they did.
My second time was ordering LEDApple's autographed mini album Run To You. The price was really great for being an autographed album. Although it took some time to ship it out (I ordered it in the middle of the holidays) it went super fast shipping it. Three working days took it. The packaging could be better. Because it was one of those bubble wrap bags that I don't like. But the shipping fee was pretty decent.
The third time I ordered is my FT Island Five Treasure Box with autographs. I ordered one and asked for a Seunghyun autograph (because it said that there would only be one autograph and you could ask for a member sign although it might not come true) but it came with all members autographs ^^.

Soompi never has the same form for all specials. Sometimes it's just one autograph or it's all members. Other times there is extra stuff and sometimes there aren't.

There is a reason for me only ordering specials from Soompi. And that is that their prices on the normal albums are way to high if I compare them to other sites. Their prices are even higher than YesAsia. But their shipping is pretty cheap and you get tracking even with the cheapest shipping option. If you buy for more than $38 you'll get free shipping which is good.
I think they are really nice at answering questions and helping out if there is something.

Kpopshopper
It took them waaay to long to send me my autographed B1A4 In The Wind album. And I got really worried when they stopped updating their twitter and didn't respond on email.
So I definitely do not recommend buying from them. I'm not even sure if the autographs are real or not. Seeing how fast they suddenly was able to send this album when I asked for my money back. It may be real (and if it is I'll be crying because then it actually is Sandeul who wrote my name) or it could be fake and I paid to much for it. If anyone can tell if it's real or not please let me know. This didn't come with a photocard so not even that did I have to look forward to.

Kpop-fashion
This shop is where I bought my MYNAME pillow case from. Marta also does t-shirts, slogans etc. and does it all by herself. I just requested a pillow case and got super fast three designs to choose from if I liked them (which I did). And then it took like a day or two for her to make it. Then I got to send the money in my own currency which meant no unnecessary currency exchange.
The shipping was pretty fast! 3 working days took it.

I think this is it ^^ If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask them beacuse I will try to do my best helping. I do want to give some advice already. Create accounts on the sites (that's the way to get the most accurate shipping fees) and add the same albums to your carts and compare how much the sum in the end becomes.
Don't stick to one site. Sometimes you can get a better price somewhere else so do compare them all the time. Don't think about which site you prefer (well, if the site delivers damaged goods or always get your orders returned then you shouldn't buy from them xD) but look at which one is cheaper because if you want to buy more albums you have more money over to buy and that way you help your favourite artists more.

I hope it helped :)

Thanks a lot for this post! It helped me and I have to admit, you have a really cool writing style. (^.^)
Question: Do you know, how kpopmart deals with lost packages?

Cecilia - 세실리아 9 January 2013 at 20:52

No problem ^^ I'm glad it helped :D And thank you! I try to make it easy to read :)

I have never been in that situation but I think that if it's lost, they'll track it and if it's lost in Korea they will replace it but I'm not sure. Best way to know is to mail them. They answer pretty quickly and are nice ^^

Lisa 9 January 2013 at 21:30

Okay. Thanks again :)

Catherine Allegra 21 May 2013 at 14:21

Hi, nice to meet you!
I've read your review about all the online shops :D
I just wanted to ask, do KpopMart reply our email fast?
Thanks

Unknown 19 July 2013 at 20:49

Hello, nice post :)
I want to ask you, How many time your order in soompi was confirmed???

Cecilia - 세실리아 23 July 2013 at 15:46

Thank you ^^
Well, it was confirmed every time Soompi got my album. Since I've only ordered specials they've only been confirmed when Soompi gotten the albums from the entertainment. So every time is my answer to you :)

About kpopmart, how did it for the item to be shipped from the company after you paid for it..? You know, not for it to arrive at your house, that I already know, but when did you receive the message that it was shipped? xD Like, after how many days..?

I know, it's a long to say almost nothing, but could you still help me? ^^

Cecilia - 세실리아 10 August 2013 at 22:36

Hi ^^
You mean the message that they had re-sent the package? When confirming my payment for the shipping cost they told me when they would process the shipment but I had to email them to know that they had sent it.

Anonymous,  10 August 2013 at 22:45

Ok, thanks a lot! ^^

Anonymous,  10 August 2013 at 23:37

I was wondering, how do you buy an item on kpoppreorders? I don't understand the site..

Cecilia - 세실리아 10 August 2013 at 23:46

It's a tumblr shop who's currently on hiatus so you're not able to order from her..

Unknown 14 August 2013 at 07:51

so who do you think is the best overall ?

Cecilia - 세실리아 14 August 2013 at 17:54

I don't think any site is better than all the rest because every site has their pros and cons (although I think CDJapan is the better one for Japanese stuff).
And I always compare my orders between the sites to get the best price. That's what I recommend everyone to do before ordering anything.

Unknown 1 January 2014 at 22:58

when you ordered from kpop mart did you use ems or small package shipping ??

Cecilia - 세실리아 1 January 2014 at 23:00

As stated in the beginning of this post I only use standard shipping aka small package shipping ^^

Anonymous,  9 February 2014 at 01:51

Hi! ^^
I know this post is a bit old er but I'm thinking about buying some CDs and goods Form Kpopmart.
First I wanted to buy them from KpopTown but recently read that their way oft packaging isn't the best. I'm curious about some things and would be glad if you could help me out.
So...
1. Did you ever have to go to the custom and pay some extra money?
2. I know I can pay with PayPal but do I have to pay in $ or can I pay in €...? (I'm from Germany so this one would be important for me.)
3. I want to buy most of the goods via Kpopmart but I'm interested in buying the CD packs from Kpoptown (e.g. Both repackaged xoxo Versions with Posters by EXO). They are much cheaper when I buy them in packs but kpopmart doesn't offer this Kind of service. So do you think I should give Kpoptown a try and buy them from there? (Was the package alright or do I have to fear broken goods?)

I hope you can help me. It's my first time ordering from overseas and my parents don't really trust the whole thing. So I think they would calm down if you had good experiences and could answer my questions. ^^ I'm sorry for the long comment and for my English skills. They aren't the best yet. :/ Thanks!

Cecilia - 세실리아 9 February 2014 at 14:12

Hi ^^

1. I don't think I have for neither Kpopmart or Kpoptown. But it depends on how much you buy and your country. I know Sweden has a pretty high amount that you can buy for without getting charged.

2. If you pay with paypal then the amount will automatically change to $. At least that's what I think. I don't use € so I'm not sure. But I don't think it will cost you any extra for the change. Using paypal is really easy and convenient since they do most of the work for you when you check out from Kpopmart or Kpoptown ^^

3. I have yet to get a damage package from Kpoptown. But I'm not sure if your items will arrive safely. I used to get albums in boxes from Kpoptown but it looks like they've quit using boxes so it might be a risk. But the risk might be worth taking? It's up to you to choose. Just remember that the repackaged XOXO's are quite heavy. But since I haven't ordered those albums I don't know how they arrive.

I hope I helped ^^ If there is anything else you're wondering then just ask me and I'll try and help you the best I can :)

As for Kpopmart I've only had good experiences. The only reason I'm not that comfortable with Kpoptown is because I ordered an album and a facial mask and they sent the facial mask (the shipping was twice the price) and then let me know that the album had been cancelled because it was out of stock. Otherwise I've never had a problem with them.

And your English is fine because I can understand you ^^ That's all that matters ;)

Anonymous,  9 February 2014 at 15:37

Thank you so much for answering! ^^
Your answers did help me a lot and I think I can change my parents mind with your experience. :D

I'm glad you took some time for my question. Hope you will have a good day! ^^

Cecilia - 세실리아 9 February 2014 at 16:41

No problem :) I'm glad I can help you :D
I hope you have a good day too ^^

Anonymous,  9 February 2014 at 17:55

hello cecilia :)
just want to ask, have you already received your album from kpopreorders? how did you contact them? i have ordered something from them too, but when i contact them, there is no reply from them :) so, i just want to know how you get in touch with them etc :) thank you in advance :)

Cecilia - 세실리아 9 February 2014 at 18:38

Hi ^^
No, I haven't received it and I haven't gotten any reply from her either. I've sent her messages through email and tumblr... I guess next will be contacting her through tumblr because it's been a year now (well, at least since the album was released).
But keep on trying to contact her in some way and let me know if you get a reply please :)

FreyaAas 12 February 2014 at 10:06

If only all these shops would let you choose the version of the album you want to get... I'd definitely buy some of the CDs from kpoptown because they are usually cheaper than those on ebay.

Cecilia - 세실리아 12 February 2014 at 16:24

Well, for most albums they do. Although some times they add a little to the price compared to the random version.

I would not buy albums from Kpoptown unless there is a certain deal or only available at Kpoptown thingy. They're not as trustable as Kpopmart, YesAsia or CDJapan. Their custom service ain't great from what I've heard and if your item is out of stock they'll send the rest of your things without even giving you a notice before they shipped it.
Besides comparing Kpoptown to Kpopmart it only is like a couple of dollars difference because Kpoptown usually have cheaper shipping while Kpopmart has cheaper albums and better service.

FreyaAas 13 February 2014 at 12:25

Thanks for your advice. :)
I'm going to buy this album from Kpopmart. Also I noticed their shipping prices are cheaper than Kpoptown (overall it's a 6$ difference) - but maybe it's because shipping from Kpopmart with take a little bit longer.
I wanted to buy Still Alive G-Dragon version, but I can't find any shop that lets you choose the version you want. I even sent a question about it to Kpoptown and they answered me "there's only one version", but they didn't even tell me which one.

Cecilia - 세실리아 13 February 2014 at 14:08

No problem :)
For me Kpoptowns shipping takes longer than Kpopmarts :P

It might be because it's an old album (since it's Big Bang). But send a little message in the message box when you order asking nicely if there's any way you can get the version you want ^^ if there is any possibility for them I think Kpopmart will try and do it.
It also might be that there is only a group version or something like that because the album is old, if you look at Kpoptowns answer.

You can always try and ask Kpopmarts tumblr about it ^^ they usually answer those questions :)

As I've said to others; I haven't heard anything good about Kpoptowns custom service but I know that Kpopmarts custom service is pretty good :)

FreyaAas 13 February 2014 at 14:42

Well, I think I'll give up buying Still Alive for now. Maybe I could find a version I'm interested in on ebay someday. (I hope so) It's all because I got into kpop not so long ago, so I didn't even have a chance to buy it earlier... So sad.
Also I thought it may be a group version, but then I read the comments and some of the buyers wrote they got Seungri version, so I don't know...

YesAsia sounds cool 'cos they have free shipping from 39$, but I noticed all their stuff is hugely overpriced, so I don't think I'll ever buy anything from them. Kpopmart seems to be the best choice. Do you always Small Packet option (I mean you wrote shipping time is about 5-10 days which is really fast and I wonder if it's because you maybe chose faster shipping?

Anyway, I'm sorry for asking so many questions. I hope it isn't too annoying. :)

Cecilia - 세실리아 13 February 2014 at 15:05

I think you will some day ^^ make sure to look on tumblr too :)

And send an ask to Kpopmarts tumblr to know how their stock is (they're usually good at answering ;)

Yesasia is good when you want to buy Chinese or Taiwanese stuff (without them I wouldn't be nowhere near my Vision Wei Chen collection or Hit 5). The reason they are overpriced is because their free shipping. It's sneaky because instead of taking out shipping fees they just add the fees in the products so unless you're buying a lot with their free shipping option or Chinese/Taiwanese stuff I don't recommend them.

I only use the cheapest option because I rather spend my money on the products than on the shipping fee :P so it's not because I chose a faster shipping :)

Your questions are not annoying :) I'm just glad I can help :)

FreyaAas 16 February 2014 at 19:11

OK. :) Thanks a lot for everything.

I ordered this album from kpopmart on Friday, so I guess they'll mail it on Monday. They seem to be really helpful, they even answered my question I sent vis mail, but unfortunately it isn't possible to choose the version I want to receive. But I've also checked the other shop you recommended CDJapan and they have quite a lot of interesting stuff. :) I never buy a lot, so yesasia wouldn't be a good choice for me. :)

I think there's also the other good shop called dvdheaven. I have one CD from them and the packaging was really good. They sent me unfolded poster and a CD in one box which is also very nice.

Anyway, I can't wait to receive my parcel. :)

May I ask how many albums do you have in your collection?

Cecilia - 세실리아 16 February 2014 at 20:10

No problem :)

Yeah they will at the earliest since they don't work weekends. Yeah, they help as much as they can. To bad they can't help you with that..
CDJapan is a great store! And since they are based in Japan they can get a lot of Japanese stuff ^^ Although they sell a lot of Korean albums and now even Taiwanese versions of albums ^^

Yeah, I'm a member there but I haven't ordered anything yet because their shipping isn't cheap.. People says they are but maybe if you buy like one album or something which I don't. I rather buy a lot and save on the shipping than buy one and one to pay cheaper shipping for now..

I hope it arrives safely for you :D

I have 127 albums including the Japanese versions and doublets. Counting Japanese and Chinese artists I have, the total is 137. ^^
And some more coming in tomorrow :P

SweetiePieCinju 27 February 2014 at 20:58

So... it's me again. I'm also a member of blogspot now. ^^
I just wanted to tell you that you really did help me a lot back then. I bought two albums from Kpopmart (BTS' Boy in Luv and B.A.P's First Sensibility with a poster) and received my package today. I just had to wait for two weeks. ^^
Thank you again! My parents weren't that uneasy after I showed them what you had told me. ^^

Cecilia - 세실리아 27 February 2014 at 22:17

Cool :D
Waah I'm happy for you!! :D Congratulations for your first buy!! And I'm glad I could help :) You made me feel useful so thank you :)

Anonymous,  24 March 2014 at 03:55

Just want to ask does kpopmart declared the same value on your box and on your paid item?^^

Cecilia - 세실리아 24 March 2014 at 21:10

I'm not sure what you mean buy they don't write the actual value on the box.
For example I bought two albums that was $31 but on the box it says $8.
I'm not sure how they do with EMS...

Anonymous,  15 May 2014 at 09:11

do you know about any legit asian fashion sites??

Cecilia - 세실리아 15 May 2014 at 12:48

YesStyle? I don't buy much clothes on the Internet

Unknown 7 June 2014 at 16:27

Thank you so much!! But my problem is I got struggles in registering in Kpoptown.
And all of the sites you recommend ships in philippines?

Cecilia - 세실리아 9 June 2014 at 15:17

No problem.
If you have problem registering in Kpoptown then don't register. They're not that great and if you have problem it's probably not worth it.
I honestly don't know if they all ships to Philippines because I'm from Sweden. Check out their faq pages to see if they do.

Anonymous,  17 August 2014 at 00:06

Hi, I found this page through google when I looked up for kpoptown reviews. May I know why you didn't rate kpoptown's customs service? I was planning to preorder a photobook from there and buy some cosmetics while I'm at it but now I'm wondering if it's just better to buy the photobook from kpopmart instead? I was attracted to the fact that they had registered shipping option on kpoptown and it's not as expensive as ems while still being able to track the package. I live in the EU too, so I'm guessing shipping time is more or less the same. Have you ever need to pay VAT or get charged whatsoever? Thank you :D

Cecilia - 세실리아 17 August 2014 at 00:39

Hi ^^
The reason I didn't rate their customer service is because I haven't been in contact with them (although I should have when they cancelled one of my items and shipped the other one). I can't rate something I don't know about right?
Honestly I would recommend Kpopmart. I haven't lost a package with their small package option and they are the better site.
And I've never been charged when it comes from Korea, but then again I live in Sweden and I think it's a pretty large sum before you get taxed. And I don't even know what VAT is.
Hope it helped.

Luomuporkkana 19 October 2014 at 17:46

Hi!
I've been thinking of ordering 5 albums from Kpopmart. I live in EU, so I was wondering how much the shipping fees would be? And if choose the posters, how much it would add?
Thanks!

Cecilia - 세실리아 19 October 2014 at 18:33

That's a question I'll never be able to answer. To find out the answer you need to create an account on Kpopmart and then add the albums you want and check. Then add the posters you want and check.
Shipping costs depends on how bug the albums are, how many posters and wheee you live etc. And since I don't work at Kpopmart I'll never have the answer to your question.

Hi. Do you know where to find the information i will be using to send my payment in kpoptown?

Cecilia - 세실리아 26 December 2014 at 14:11

Hi
I do not even know what kind of information you want to find so I doubt I'll know where to find it.
Sorry..

Hi, Have you ever ordered anything from M-wave?

Anonymous,  14 January 2015 at 05:00

I'm not sure if they will ever see this but FreyaAas i have found someone selling the BIGBANG -still alive GD version for $16 us dollars

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi6UfoWUTmM

Cecilia - 세실리아 14 January 2015 at 11:01

Yes I have but to know what I think about it you'll have to look at the page that is called Reviews (or something like that I don't have the exact name in my head) cause I've only kept this page for commenting...

Anonymous,  12 December 2015 at 15:47

Hi, I live in Singapore too and I would like to ask about the delivery for kpopmart. What happens if there was no receiver once the post man visited my address? Will the package gets returned back to kpopmart and I have to pay an extra shipping fee or I just collect it at the Singpost? (coz i am confused after reading the faq) Thanks alot :)

Hej, för en vecka sen beställde jag ett album från KPOPmart och valde "small package option". Hur lång tid tror du det kommer att ta för packetet att komma fråm och kommer packetet hamna i min brevlåda eller i coop/ ica? Tack denna reviewen!

Hi
I can't really answer this because I don't live in Singapore and don't know how Singapost do.
But I think that you should be able to collect it if you're not home when it arrives.. It's all up to Singapost. How do they usually act when you're expecting a package but isn't home when the mailman comes?

Hej

I was gunna order from kpop tow. Till I saw kpop mart . Kpop mart had more expensive cds but I saw the shipping for kpopmart was £2 while kpoptown was £7 !!! How much was yours ?

Rbeautyme 14 December 2015 at 02:31

I just checked again and their is only £1 difference aha my mistake ! In thus case which one do your reccomend on terms of reliability and speed ?

Cecilia - 세실리아 14 December 2015 at 07:28

I would probably recommend Kpopmart since I've been in contact with them and they are always trying to do their best helping you. I don't think there is any difference in speed.
I haven't had a problem with Kpopmart yet.

I found a new website that sells kpop woth cheap shipping and prices ! Called ktown4u and I think it was previously called dvdheaven ? Have you tried it?

Cecilia - 세실리아 15 December 2015 at 22:11

I registered on the site when they were still dvdheaven but it was never worth it for me.
But I've heard a lot of mixed opinions about them, mostly bad though. So if you decide to try them, you're on your own. I wish you good luck if you do, you'll probably need it.

Cheap things aren't always as they seems.

when albums have the notice (import disc) in cdjapan, does it mean that it's only the cd and there isnt a photobook? i've really been wondering about that but couldnt find an answer

Cecilia - 세실리아 23 December 2015 at 18:03

It probably depends on if it normally comes with a photobook. Import disc means that the album is imported from another country. Like albums from Korea will always have the notice unless it's a Japan version of it.
They explain it in the description of the album.

Hello, I live in the States. Since you did buy some stuff from Kpoptown and Kpopmart. I want to ask that do (both) they ship directly to your house? Like in front of your door. Or you have to go to your local post office and pick it up.
The second question is do both accept debit card? And the shipping tax is it high?
Thank you, hope you answer ^.^

Hey guys....

Just a lil comment on kpoptown... thy have the shittiest customer service.
I placed an order when thy told me everythin in stock and then cancelled it coz a few hours later its got no stock thy gave me a refund.... and its not a full amount wut i alrdy paid for.
The second item they say stock coming in a few days and a few days later thy got no stock.... (expected)..then thy didnt give me a refund instead they gave me a voucher that valued less then the amount i paid for.
Third. I dont mean to be mean but really you expect a proper answer whn a customer asking for a question... instead they answer no stock we will give voucher.

I dont suggest any1 to shop there.
But yesasia, kpopmart and kpopgate (esp this one ... very fast response)

First off, I'm sorry. I don't know why I didn't see this comment, it may also have been that I saw it but due to being at a training school I forgot about it.

I think it depends on your mailman. I usually don't get big boxes to my house because my mailman can't carry it on his bike (mostly during spring/summer/fall).
I don't know. I've never used card, only paypal. And the shipping fee totally depends on where you live. I would say make an account, put whatever you're looking to buy in the cart and then check how much shipping is. Just because you make an account doesn't mean you have to buy anything.

Cecilia - 세실리아 5 October 2016 at 14:51

I agree. They cancelled an album for me and decided to ship a faskmask (that I bought at the same time). The shipping was way more expensive than the facemask and they didn't even contact me before they shipped it. I got the cancellation mail and shipping mail at the same time.

Hello, I just wanted to ask. I want to buy some albums and some posters. But I do not have a paypal account. Do you know any websites that will take credit card? Thank you :)

Cecilia - 세실리아 16 December 2016 at 17:01

I think what you can do is choose paypal and then pay without a paypal account. I think that's the only way to pay with a credit card but I can't be sure because I've never paid with a credit card.. Honestly you should check the sites FAQ, I think most of them have it there.

Hi, I just pre-ordered the BTS live on stage 2016 DVD off of kpoptown and I just wanted to know if you have always received the packages and they weren't damaged or anything. And also do you think I should receive the package alright because I live in the US?

Cecilia - 세실리아 6 January 2017 at 04:22

Hi! I've always recieved the package when they sent it. I don't remember since it's been really long since I last ordered from them but I think they weren't damage (but then again it's always a risk of getting things shipped because of the people who handle it at the post office and on it's way to you).
It will most likely get to you safely but there's always a risk of it disappearing (unless you chose EMS) or come damage.

Okay, thanks for letting me know

I ordered from Kpop mart on 22 May. The parcel was sent out on 30 May which was 1 week after ordering. It took around 3 weeks to arrive.
But the disappointing part was that there weren’t any freebies in the parcel ): I know that they are not obliged to give any but was just a tad disappointed since multiple reviews have commented that they do give freebies. ): Oh wells... Perhaps it’s a new kind of procedure.

Cecilia - 세실리아 24 June 2018 at 21:44

I know you're feeling. I've recieved many packages from different people and companies and I get disappointed to especially when it's a trade or you bought something from a person and there's not even a letter.

But they don't give out freebies for every album. I don't know which albums you bought but it could've been multiple reasons to why.
For example;
You bought an old album, they didn't give out freebies for that album (they mostly only do it for the popular groups), they had ran out before they got to your order.
That's the reason I can think of. Like I say in my review, they put it in often but not all the time. I've gotten a lot of packages that don't contain freebies.
Freebies is not something you should expect but something that should surprise you. It's a nice extra that no one have to do for you.
In my review I also count in the free poster as freebies since even though you very often get to pay the extra shipping they don't charge you for the poster. Something they could've easily done.

Also since I don't know what the circumstances was I can only make a wild guess so don't take my word for it.
Sorry for rambling ^^
