Debut #4: Rocket Punch & Fanatics

안녕하세요 ^^

Rocket Punch - BIM BAM BUM
I accidentally came across this music video and decided to check them out since I read about them. I haven't watched Produce 48 but I liked IZ*ONE's debut song so I've kept an eye on them.
I haven't been really impressed by any recent debuts so I wasn't expecting much. But I was proven wrong. I'm really glad I watched this music video because this song is really good. It's different but in a good way.
So this group has three members that was a part of Produce 48. At first I only heard of Takahashi Juri so I checked out their profile and it turned out they have a total of 3 members that was a part of Produce 48. Juri, Suyun and Sohee, with Suyun being the first one that I noticed in the music video.
But this group is a 6 member group and the other 3 members haven't disappointed me either. Yeonhee, Yunkyoung and Dahyun. While being the maknae Dahyun has gotten me interested, she's really cute and a great singer as well.
I love the choreography and I love the live version as well. If I like a music video I almost always go to watch a live version because I love seeing the dance choreography and see how good the groups perform. Sometimes the live version make me fall more in love than the music video. They really showed me how good they are at performing already through their live performance.
I've come to realize that this group has been really hyped up because of Takahashi Juri and I'm happy that this group haven't started out as a "Juri and the girls" kind of group.
I'm looking forward to what they have to show us next.

Fanatics - Sunday
So this is apparently another Produce group with Chaelin from 101 and Doah from 48. I read an article about them before watching their music video. So one day when I was bored I checked their music video out. And it seemed like a good song, although a little lacklusterless. But Sica and Doah really impressed me.
I liked the choreography as well so I decided to check out the live performance in hopes that it would make me more impressed. But it actually did the opposite. Maybe it's because they just debuted (although some of the members did already debut through a subunit) but their voices was really thin and it fell short for me.
I know they haven't gotten as much hype as Rocket Punch (and it seems a lot of people think it's because they're from a smaller company) but I'm not sure they were quite ready to debut.
Maybe they'll improve over time but I think I'd rather keep an eye on Rocket Punch than Fanatics..

As always this is only my opinion so make your own by watching their music videos.
