Introducing #17: SPICA

I've decided to rename all my kpop rants because it didn't really fit the post ^^ So now every post like this will be called Introducing. Cause I'm sort of introducing a kpop group with these posts.

Anyways this Introducing will be about SPICA. I haven't mentioned them that much but I do think they're a really good girl group.
Let's start! SPICA made their official debut on January 31, 2012 with Russian Roulette. Before their official debut they released Doggedly. The members are Boa, Jiwon, Sihyun, Narae and Bohyung and they're under the same entertainment as Lee Hyori, Kim Kyujong, Heo Youngsaeng and Eric Nam.

Doggedly

This is their pre-debut song. The music video featuring Lee Hyori and I think it's pretty amazing. Hyori is gorgeous as always and the video is stylish. The song is really good.

Russian Roulette

Although it's not my favourite song I find the music video really cool. And their voices are amazing!

Painkiller

This song reminds me of another one. But I can't remember which.. Anyways this is a good song :)

I'll Be There

This is my favourite song off all the ones they've released yet. It has a Spice Girls feel to it and well.. do I need to say more?? ^^ Everyone used to love Spice Girls when they where small right?? I'll Be There is an AMAZING song!

Lonely

I'm not that fond of their skirts or the dance but the song is really good and the music video is nice ^^

Pink - Just Give Me A Reason

I just had to add this here because the song is amazing. And I think it's a lot thanks to Boa. She does it amazingly. If it only where Hanbyul and Kyumin they wouldn't have pulled it off. But thanks to Boa it became good.

Sihyun 86/11/29

Sihyun (previously Juhyun) is the oldest and the only rapper. She's funny and can sing. She's also featured in Heo Youngsaeng's music video Let It Go.

Boa 87/01/14

The leader, Boa. She's really talented and has been a vocal coach for KARA, Infinite and Rainbow. I love her voice!

Narae 88/02/23

Main vocalist Narae came to top 8 in the first season of Superstar K. She has a great voice.

Jiwon 88/04/05

Jiwon has done the most out of the members. She was in Five Girls which is famous for never debuting and for having members of now debuted girls. And Jiwon was part of T-ara but left right before their official debut. She's also taken part in a few acting projects. Such as the drama What's Up?, the movie Death Bell and music video's such as Kim Kyujong's Yesterday and Boyfriend's I'll Be There. She's the reason to why I even gave SPICA a chance. I loved her voice in What's Up?

Bohyung 89/03/31

Bohyung the maknae. She's another great vocalist in this group. She's been a YG and JYP trainee and was rumored to be in 2NE1.
